They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And tonight, I am out of words- but full of thoughts. Or maybe they are memories, memories baked in tender emotion, sprinkled with eternity.
Its the littlest things.
Its the way my kids adore each other. Its Emma's Christmas toes (purple, just like Halloween, Easter, and every other day of her life). Its double dates with family & friends. Its time without regrets.
Its the memories my kids will have of being surrounded by family. Family who can give them adventures and experiences we can't.
Memories of Holidays filled with people who love them.
Memories filled with people.
Its watching my incredible husband with our munchkins.
Its knowing that as long as he is here we are protected and loved.
Its knowing that their childhood is safe, and sweet.
Its the days that pass so quickly there is barely time for savoring.
Its the eternity of our family.
The way that when I hold them both their past and their future are in reach.
Its knowing there is more than just this moment, this life-
and not caring because this moment, this life, is perfect.
I think this is just the way grateful feels when you have the time to stop and experience it.
